Chocolate Raspberry Chia Treats

I love when a plan comes together! My husband loves raspberries and I love chocolate so I decided to try making this healthy treat- and it is a winner!
The raspberries are obviously full of antioxidants, fiber and vitamins! Chia seeds are a great source of fiber, protein and omega 3's. And the dark chocolate is a source of antioxidants and the collagen I add is a source of protein- its the main component of connective tissues that make up tendons, ligaments, skin and muscles.
I am calling them Chocolate Raspberry Chia Treats!
This is what I did! I took-
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 tbsp chia seeds- https://loom.ly/Q2LZVAQ
1 tbsp of maple syrup but could totally omit
Mash it all together and let sit so the chia 'gelifies". Once its thickened -drop by spoonful on parchment paper https://loom.ly/UFq0gQ8
And put in freezer to freeze.
While in freezer melt some chocolate- I did it in microwave which made it so easy but you could use a double boiler- I used these chocolate chips https://loom.ly/5_3uWCc
After they were melted I stirred in some Organika Peppermint Chocolate Collagen https://loom.ly/eaw67PU
Absolute game changer!
Next step was messy but easy! Take out the frozen raspberry mixture and then dip to cover in the chocolate. Put back in freezer to harden.
Then enjoy!! I am keeping in the fridge and they are the perfect quick snack!
